Bio
Charlie Jenkins is a high-achieving and competitive student-athlete from Clare, Michigan, and a 2024 graduate of Clare High School. Growing up in Clare, Charlie developed a strong passion for athletics alongside interests in cooking and investing/stocks, which reflect both creativity and discipline. He is supported by his parents, Joanna and Charles Jenkins, who have encouraged his academic and athletic pursuits.
Charlie competed in an impressive range of varsity sports in high school, including bowling, clay target shooting, football (wide receiver), soccer (right wing), and track and field (pole vault). He earned a varsity letter, served as team captain of the bowling team, and graduated with highest honors, posting a 3.96 GPA. Charlie also earned All-Region and All-State honors in both track and soccer, highlighting his versatility and athletic excellence.
Charlie chose Mid primarily because of the opportunity to attend tuition-free community college, and he continues to compete in athletics because of his competitive nature and love for staying active. After a strong season last year, he expects the program to keep improving and hopes to help his team finish top three in the conference.
Academically, Charlie plans to study Accounting and Finance while focusing on transferring credits to a four-year institution, with Northwood University among his future considerations. He is also eager to further develop his career planning skills as he prepares for the next step in his academic and professional journey.
