Laker Bowling Has Successful First Tournament at Rochester
Both bowling teams traveled to Richfield Bowl in Flint to partake in their first event of the fall season. The format consisted of four individual games and sixteen baker games.
The men finished 13th overall among 23 total teams, including a 10th place finish among 13 varsity programs.
The high game of the day for the Lakers belonged to Cole Swanberg who threw a 244 game. The high series of the day was thrown by Brett Petersen, who threw a 761 series over the four games. This series was good for 27th place out of 136 participants. Jase Clairmont was the second best finish for the Lakers, placing 35th among the field with a 725 series.
The women finished 8th among 13 total teams.
The high game of the day for the Lakers belong to Khaila Bullard with a 197 game. The high series of the day was thrown by Olivia Moss, who threw a 682 series over the four games. The series was good for a 12th place finish out of 85 participants. Khaila Bullard was the second best finish for the Lakers, placing 13th with a 680 series.
Both Laker bowling programs will take the lanes again October 21st at Cornerstone University's Tournament at Station 300 in Grandville.
