Bowling Teams Show Strides at Cornerstone Tournament
Both bowling teams hit the road to attend Cornerstone University's Tournament over the weekend, looking to build off of their first tournament performance.
The women ended up finishing 11th among varsity programs, and 12th among all teams. The field consisted of a mixture of 17 JV and varsity teams.
Khaila Bullard led the Lady Laker bowling teams with a 854 series over five games. That series was good for 20th among the field of 101 individuals in the event. Olivia Moss was the second highest Lady Laker in the standings at 58th with a 618 series for four games. Right behind Moss, Skylar Davy scored a 608 series over four games, placing her 60th among the field.
The men ended up finishing 10th among varsity programs and 11th among all teams. The field consisted of a mixture of 21 JV and varsity teams.
Jase Clairmont led the Laker bowling team with a 1,015 series over five games. This series placed Clairmont 15th among the field of 119 individuals in the event. Cole Swanberg was second among Laker bowlers, finishing 18th among the field with a 989 series over five games.
The bowling programs will return to action November 18th at the BGSU Falcon Classic in Sandusky, Ohio.
