Lakers Finish 3rd at MCCAA Championships
LIVONIA, Mich. – The Mid Michigan College men's bowling team went to MerriBowl Lanes to compete in the MCCAA Championships on Friday (Feb. 7).
Mid finished third out of 10 competing schools in the standings with a team score of 9061. Schoolcraft College won the event with a score of 9504, while Jackson College was runner-up just 12 pins ahead of the Lakers with a 9073.
Sophomore Cole Swanberg had a strong day with a 1738 series to earn All-MCCAA honors.
Swanberg added to his accolades this season, after earning MCCAA All-Eastern Conference the week prior at Riverwood.
Mid will continue the postseason at the NJCAA Regional event Friday (Feb. 14). The event at Royal Scot Bowling Center in Lansing, Mich. will begin at 9:00 AM.
