Bio

Ty Olsen comes to Mid Michigan College as a standout multi-sport athlete with success in both baseball and bowling. A four-year varsity baseball letter winner, Ty served as team captain his junior and senior seasons and earned B+ Honor Roll recognition all four years. His senior baseball season included First Team All-Conference, All-District, All-Region, and All-State honors, while helping lead his team to district and regional championships and a state quarterfinal appearance.

In bowling, Ty earned Second Team All-Conference honors, finished as a regional top-10 individual, was part of a 2024 regional championship team, and helped his team place top eight at the state finals. He also competed at the national level, finishing 21st individually at the 2025 NJCAA National Tournament.

Ty learned about Mid through his best friend, Cole Bradshaw, who introduced him to bowling and encouraged him to join the program. He chose Mid to compete in a strong, competitive bowling environment and proudly represent the college. His athletic goal is to earn an All-American nomination at nationals. Academically, Ty is pursuing an FHRA certificate while developing skills in time management, goal setting, and career planning.
