Alissa Brandon Named Softball Player of the Week

Macomb, MI - The MCCAA league office has announced that Alissa Brandon has been named the MCCAA Northern Conference player of the week for the week ending April 12th.  It is the second player of the week honor for Mid softball this season.

In six games, Brandon hit .571 with a .625 on base percentage and a .857 slugging percentage. She had four doubles and five RBI's helping the Lakers go 3-3 and stay in the hunt for the MCCAA North title.  In just four games played, the leadoff hitter collected 10 hits and scored nine runs. She currently leads the Lakers in average at .397 as well as total hits with 23.
