Bio

Anyia Sanford joins Mid Michigan College as a competitive and motivated student-athlete with a strong background in bowling. During her high school career, Anyia earned varsity letters in both of her sports during her junior and senior years, highlighting her consistency and commitment. She also earned All-Conference recognition in bowling and capped off her senior season with a third-place finish in the conference, demonstrating her growth and competitive drive.

Anyia learned about Mid Michigan College through her high school and career center, which introduced her to the opportunity to continue both her academic and athletic career at the collegiate level. She chose Mid because of her love for the sport, her competitive nature, and her long-time goal of competing in college athletics.

At Mid, Anyia holds high expectations for the athletics program after seeing the team’s success last season and is motivated to help the program reach even greater heights. Her athletic goals focus on continued skill development and being the best teammate possible. Academically, Anyia plans to study graphic design with the goal of earning her associate degree, while also working to strengthen her study skills as she balances academics and athletics
