Bio

Madeline McDonald is a dedicated and passionate athlete from Freeland, Michigan (Saginaw County), who has excelled in softball, playing both first and third base. Growing up with three brothers and three pets, Madeline learned the value of hard work, focus, and teamwork from an early age. She discovered a love for math and hopes to inspire others as a future teacher.

At Freeland High School, Madeline earned a varsity letter, served as team captain during her junior and senior years, and was recognized for her excellence on and off the field. Her accolades include Academic All-State (2022–2025), All-District Team (2023–2025), Tri-Valley Conference First Team (2024–2025), All-Region Team (2025), and Midland Daily News Dream Team First Team (2024–2025).

Madeline learned about Mid from a former softball player and knew it was the right fit after visiting campus and seeing the supportive, competitive environment. She is eager to continue playing softball at a high level, improve her skills, contribute to team success, and grow as both an athlete and a leader.

Academically, Madeline plans to study Secondary Education, earn transfer credits, and eventually continue her education at Saginaw Valley State University, while developing important skills in career planning and personal growth.
