Bio

Brooklyn Orr is a standout multi-sport athlete from high school, excelling in softball, basketball, and volleyball. In softball, she earned First Team All-Conference honors all four years, along with All-District and All-Region recognition each year, and was named First Team All-State three times with an additional Honorable Mention. She also served as a team captain and earned MVP honors in basketball, where she was Second Team All-Conference twice, and volleyball, where she was Second Team All-Conference and captain.

Brooklyn learned about Mid when the softball coach reached out to her. Her decision to attend was solidified by the opportunity to continue playing softball at the collegiate level, visiting the campus, and being close to home. She chose Mid for its supportive environment and smaller campus, which she felt was the perfect fit.

At Mid, Brooklyn aims to play to the best of her ability while continuing to grow as both an athlete and a person. She plans to study Physical Therapy and earn her Associate Degree, with future plans to transfer to Ferris State University. She is eager to further develop her study habits, time management, goal setting, career planning, and math and science skills while contributing to Mid’s softball program.
