Bio

Gracie Wright comes to Mid Michigan College from Davison, Michigan (Genesee County), where sports have always been a central part of her life. Growing up in an active family, Gracie has been involved in athletics for as long as she can remember, developing a strong work ethic, competitiveness, and love for teamwork along the way. She is especially close with her family, and credits her dad and grandfather as her biggest inspirations—both encouraging her to push herself and continue competing at the next level.

A 2025 graduate of Davison High School, Gracie excelled both on the court and in the classroom. She was a varsity team captain and earned numerous honors, including SVL Student-Athlete of the Year, Honorable Mention recognition, and All-State Academic honors, while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. In high school, she competed as a point guard in basketball and a center midfielder in soccer, showcasing her leadership, versatility, and high soccer IQ. Athletics also run in her family, as her mother, Jessica Wright, played collegiate soccer at SVSU—further fueling Gracie’s passion for the game.

Gracie chose Mid Michigan College after connecting with head coach Tanner Smith and seeing firsthand the strong team culture and supportive coaching staff. She is excited to be part of a program that values family, accountability, and excellence, with the ultimate goal of winning a national title. Academically, Gracie plans to study chemistry while focusing on transferring credits and developing key life skills such as time management. She plans to continue her academic and athletic career at a four-year institution, with Michigan State among her future goals.
