MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – After a record breaking 135-44 victory over North Central Michigan on Saturday, the No. 9 Mid Michigan College women's basketball team (14-2, 2-0 continued their dominance with a 116-34 victory over Montcalm (1-10, 0-2) on Wednesday night from Morey Courts.
Chloe Watson led the Lakers with 24 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Delaney Seaman added 23 points and six steals. Grace Chinavare posted 13 points and four steals, while Paige Ebels recorded 11 points and five steals.
Defensively, the Lakers were outstanding, recording 34 steals as a team and forcing 50 turnovers by the Centurions.
Mid was 48-of-93 from the field, 16-of-47 from three-point range, and 4-of-5 at the charity stripe.
The Lakers will be back in action Saturday with a road game at Kirtland. Tipoff is set for 1:00 PM.
