Men's Basketball Beats Alma College JV for First Win of the Season

Men's basketball eclipses 100 points in a decisive 113-72 win over Alma College JV Scots. All five starters for the Lakers scored double digit points. Leading the way for the Lakers was sophomore forward Kaiden McGillis who shot 5-5 from beyond the arc and 6-7 from the field for 18 points, while also grabbing 7 rebounds. Freshman guard Delon McCloud also had a good day from behind the 3-point line going 2-3 from 3, and 7-14 from the field for 17 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. Sophomore Jayden Sims chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Sophomore big man Javel Lewis Jr. had 15 points on an efficient 7-8 shooting while grabbing 8 rebounds and blocking a shot. Returner Satchel Love went for 11 points, including a 5-9 shooting performance while blocking 2 shots.
