Second Half Surge Pushes Men's Basketball Past LCC
Men's basketball saw several dominating performances in a 95-73 victory over Lansing Community College. The Lakers held a narrow 46-45 lead at the half, before locking down the Stars of LCC in the second half defensively, winning the second half 49-28. Sophomore Jayden Sims went for 27 points, shooting 9-18 from the field and 6-11 from three. Fellow sophomore Javel Lewis Jr. had a career night, going for 25 points on 11-16 shooting from the floor, which included several rim rocking dunks. Lewis also grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked 4 shots. Sophomore Satchel Love also had several crowd igniting dunks, en route to a 15 point performance on 7-10 shooting. The Lakers return to action Tuesday, November 29th on the road vs Alma College JV.
