Men's Basketball Splits Over the Weekend, Brings Record to 5-3

Men's basketball used a massive second half to dismantle the Ancilla College Chargers on day one of the SC4 Invitational tournament over the weekend, 80-54. Jayden Sims continued his hot shooting season, racking up 22 points leading the Lakers. Solid performances were also had by Delon McCloud (11 points) and Nick Ellis (15 points). On day two of the SC4 Invitational, the Lakers fell to host school, and top 25 ranked SC4 88-72. The Lakers were within 2 at the half, and the Skippers pulled away in the second half. Jayden Sims once again amassed 20 points leading the Lakers. They also saw solid contributions from Satchel Love, Javel Lewis Jr., and Delon McCloud, all going for double digit scoring efforts. The Lakers return to action 12/7 as they host Schoolcraft College.
