Men's Basketball Cruises to Win Over Muskegon, Moves to 6-0 in Conference Play

Men's basketball saw multiple players enter double figures in a 31 point win over the Jayhawks. Jayden Sims led the scoring efforts for the Lakers with 24 points on 9-15 shooting, including 6-9 from 3-point land. Sims also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists to his statline. Delon McCloud scored 18 points on 8-12 shooting from the floor, while grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists. Makhi McCombs was an efficient 5-6 from the floor and 3-3 from behind the 3-point line, scoring 14 points. The win moved the Lakers to 15-4 overall and 6-0 in conference play. They'll return to conference play on Saturday, when they host Bay College in a matchup between undefeated MCCAA Northern Conference foes.
