Men's Basketball Drops First Conference Game of the Season
Men's basketball suffered their first conference loss of the season to Bay College. This moves the Lakers record to 15-5 overall and 6-1 in conference play. Leading the way for the Lakers was Javel Lewis Jr. with a dominant double-double performance, scoring 32 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Lewis scored his 32 points on 13-16 shooting, including 2-3 from behind the three-point line. Delon McCloud also had a solid performance with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jayden Sims added in 17 points and Satchel Love scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Lakers look to bounce back on the road on Wednesday, 2/8 at Grand Rapids CC.
