Sims Leads Men's Basketball to Road Win over NCMC

Men's basketball took a road trip to Petoskey to take on North Central Michigan College, as they looked to win back to back conference games. The Lakers would not be denied thanks to a strong performance from Jayden Sims. Sims scored 19 points, shooting 8-8 from the FT line, leading the scoring. He also had 5 steals, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Other contributors included Javel Lewis Jr. who grabbed 16 rebounds and scored 8 points on 3-4 shooting. Delon McCloud also had 8 points. Makhi McCombs scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Satchel Love scored 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. The men return to action Wednesday, 2/15 on the road as they continue conference play versus Delta College.
