Men's Basketball Bounces Back with 84-71 over Aquinas JV

Men's basketball was looking to rebound from their road overtime loss to Bryant & Stratton. They played host to Aquinas College JV Saints, looking to get back on track and pull their record to 7-2. 

They got off to a 44-29 lead at the half. The second half was tightly contested by the Saints, but the Lakers held on to win 84-71 to push their record to 7-2.

Leading the way in scoring was Delon McCloud with 19 points on 7-10 shooting, including 5-7 from three. McCloud included 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Nick Ellis was next in line scoring for the Lakers, with 18 points on 7-13 shooting. Ellis also flirted with a double-double by grabbing 8 rebounds. James Wright also added 13 points on 5-9 shooting. Wright also grabbed 4 rebounds. De'Antre Griffin rounded out the double digit scoring for the Lakers with 11 points. 

The Lakers will return to the hardwood on December 19th when they hit the road to take on Lansing Community College.
