Bio

Caleb Lindsey is a native of Chicago, Illinois and a 2025 graduate of St. Laurence High School. His journey has been shaped by resilience, as he has overcome personal loss due to violence in his community—experiences that have strengthened his character and perspective. He credits his parents, Angela Jones and Howard Lindsey, as his greatest inspirations, drawing motivation from their selflessness and constant support.

A standout student-athlete, Lindsey played small forward for the varsity basketball program and served as a team captain all four years. In the classroom, he excelled with a 4.1 GPA and earned the Chicago Catholic League All-Academic Award each of his four seasons, reflecting his commitment to excellence both on and off the court.

Lindsey learned about Mid Michigan College after connecting with Coach House and the coaching staff at a Chicago showcase. Informative conversations with the coaches and a former player helped solidify his decision, as he appreciated the time and investment they showed in his recruitment. He is excited to compete at Mid due to the similar playing style to his high school and AAU experience, which he believes will allow for a smooth transition.

At Mid, Lindsey expects a high standard of success and aims to build on last season’s momentum by winning the conference and competing for a championship. Academically, he plans to major in Psychology, pursue an associate degree, and continue developing key skills such as time management as he prepares for a future transfer to a four-year institution.
