Bio

Darrin Weaver is a native of Merrillville, Indiana and a 2023 graduate of Merrillville High School. After high school, he worked at an Amazon warehouse, an experience that helped shape his strong work ethic and discipline.

Weaver starred as a point guard and shooting guard for Merrillville, earning Boys Basketball MVP honors. He is the son of Darrin and Janet Weaver and credits his family for their continued support.

He learned about Mid Michigan College through a friend and was drawn to the positive energy and team atmosphere. A Business Management major, Weaver’s goals include winning a conference championship and continuing to develop his goal-setting skills while competing for the Lakers.
